CM: Milan expected to invest in a young striker with three profiles monitored

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to re-tool their attack in view of next season and the plan is to sign a young centre-forward, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com are reporting that Marko Arnautovic has been earmarked as a potential replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic who could leave the club at the end of the season given he is out of contract and is now 41.

However, the arrival of Arnautovic would not change the plans of the Milan management, who are working on signing a young striker who could become the future leader of the attacking department.

One of the hottest names is that of Folarin Balogun who has scored 18 goals in 33 Ligue 1 games on loan at Stade de Reims from Arsenal, but he’s not the only one on the list of targets.

Among the profiles followed by the scouts are also Lois Openda of RC Lens and Victor Boniface of Union Saint Gilloise in Belgium.
