CM: Milan battling Marseille for Ziyech – Maldini readying a €25-30m bid

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have Hakim Ziyech firmly on their wish list again after their attempt last summer and this time things seem more promising, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com report that the departure of the Moroccan seems to be very probable as Ziyech is not a big part of Thomas Tuchel’s plans given that they are looking to sign Raheem Sterling from Manchester City and Raphinha from Leeds.

Ziyech can leave, but Chelsea have no intention of selling him off at a low price, while Marseille are also keen on the former Ajax star. Milan are working to formulate an offer on the basis of a €5m paid loan with an obligation to buy (to take advantage of the Growth Decree) of around €20-25m.

Zyiech is open to joining the Rossoneri, but there is work to be done on his salary given he earns around €6.5m gross per year at Chelsea.
