AC Milan are planning for the present and the future, and have reportedly sealed the signing of a teenage talent from Paraguay.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri scouting area have been following for some time a player that is considered the new star of Paraguayan football, Hugo Cuenca. Not only that, but an agreement has also arrived on the basis of a €500k fee plus 10% of a future resale to Deportivo Capiatà.

Now, the 16-year-old is completing the paperwork needed to obtain Spanish citizenship and then he will arrive in Italy to start his new adventure with the Rossoneri. The report adds that Milan were left impressed by Hugo in the last U15 Copa America which took place in Paraguay.

He can play either as a midfielder or an attacking midfielder, but also as a winger too, and Milan have beaten ‘many great European clubs’ to his signing.
