AC Milan are ready to reinforce another key area after securing the signing of striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to a report.

Ibrahimovic arrived in Milano on Thursday to complete the formalities of his move to the Rossoneri, undergoing a medical at La Madonnina clinic earlier in the day before enduring more fitness tests and eventually signing his contract at Casa Milan.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have made a decision regarding the next area of the squad the will look to strengthen having secured the return of the Swede.

They will look to give head coach Stefano Pioli another mercato gift by signing a central defender, with Jean-Clair Todibo the first choice but not the only option.

The report says it is a ‘certainty’ that a centre-back will arrive this month amid reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews.it) stating that Barcelona strongly believe in the defender’s potential and want to move the goalposts regarding the agreement for Todibo.
