CM: Milan closing in on full agreement for No.1 midfield target – the figures

By Oliver Fisher -

After RedBird Capital completed their takeover of AC Milan work can begin on the summer mercato and more specifically the signings to reinforce the squad.

According to Calciomercato.com, the absolute priority at the moment is Renato Sanches, the man who has been chosen for months as the heir to Franck Kessie. The Rossoneri management plan to close the negotiations with Lille soon for a lower figure than the €20m which was the agreement found in the January transfer market.

The last details are being worked on with the player regarding his salary, which should be around €4m net per season, and in the next few hours a meeting with the entourage is planned to sign a definitive agreement.

Now it is only a matter of time and patience, as the long game appears set to pay off for the Rossoneri with their No.1 midfield target getting closer and closer to arriving.

  1. We should play him as an ACM – he can hold the ball, he has a great dribbling ability and he also has a solid eye for killer balls. This way we dont have to bench players like Bennacer or Tonali.

And I would love to see Leao as a second striker

    …………………….Giroud………Leao…………………………

    This would be solid!
