CM: Milan confident of beating Arsenal and Sevilla to RB Salzburg star valued at €25m

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are keen on landing Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai but must take definitive action soon, a report has warned.

According to Calciomercato.com, there are now no doubts that Szoboszlai will leave Salzburg in the summer. In fact, Salzburg have identified Robin Hack as the Hungarian’s replacement – a 21-year-old playmaker currently at Nurnberg in Germany.

The Austrian Bundesliga will end on July 5th, and before going on vacation Szoboszlai wants to know his future. Arsenal, Hertha Berlin, Sevilla and Lazio are all keen, but Milan have moved ahead and are confident of the closing of the deal, thanks also to Ralf Rangnick’s probable arrival as the club’s new manager.

In the meantime Szoboszlai continues to send signals on social media, as he commented on one of Rafael Leao’s posts following the 4-1 win over Lecce. There is a connection between the two and there is a connection with Milan, the report concludes.

We reported on Tuesday via Vito Angele that Szoboszlai is on Rangnick’s wish list and the German has received reassurances from the club. The Rossoneri have already been in contact with the agent, collecting the player’s approval.

In the coming days, the first official offer will be presented to the Austrian side, meaning Szoboszlai could be the second to sign after Pierre Kalulu.
