AC Milan are moving closer to being able to confirm the return of Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, Bakayoko is the profile chosen by the Milan management to reinforce the midfield and is the main objective, while the player dreaming of a return to Milan for some time.

He prefers the Rossoneri to Lyon and a couple of English clubs, who also asked for information and now thanks to the opening of Chelsea we are moving towards a full agreement.

For weeks Chelsea were only open to negotiating a permanent sale for the 26-year-old, but now they are happy to talk about a loan with the option to buy, the only solution contemplated by Milan.

The parties are working to close an operation that will include the possibility of buying the player for a sum between €30-32million. Milan is confident about the success of the negotiation and it should be done within 48 hours, maximum 72.
