CM: Milan consider three alternatives to Bakayoko as deal with Chelsea is not moving forward

AC Milan are working on alternative targets for the midfield as the deal with Chelsea for Tiemoue Bakayoko is not advancing, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, the stalemate with Chelsea regarding the Bakayoko deal all stems from the figure of the option to buy that would be inserted into the deal.

This means that directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are now considering alternatives, with three in particular named: Florentino Luis of Benfica, Boubakary Soumaré of Lille and Andre Zambo-Anguissa of Fulham.

Milan are working on all targets at the same time, the report adds, but the priority is always the return of Bakayoko. The player has so far discarded all the other offers proposed by Chelsea in order to fulfil his dream of returning to wear the Milan shirt.

Chelsea though are asking for a €30m option to buy, while the Rossoneri so far have not gone up from €20m. The club are hoping for a discount between now and the end of the market, but at the moment no one is willing to take steps towards each other.

Milan waits, and also moves for alternatives, but continues to hope for Chelsea to open their stance.
