After suffering a hand injury, Marco Sportiello will be out of action for some time. As a result, AC Milan are rethinking their mercato actions, and there is an internal debate occurring.

It is the price which is leading them to debate about the future, and Giogio Furlani, Geoffrey Moncada and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are evaluating an ‘internal solution’, which would mean giving a young goalkeeper an opportunity.
Reports after the game against the Citizens suggested that Torriani could be given a chance among the first team, and perhaps he may be. However, it seems that Scuffet is the primary option at the moment.
