AC Milan are expected to make contact with Chelsea next week as they attempt to sign Carney Chukwuemeka from the Premier League side, a report claims.
As has been reported by Calciomercato.com journalist Daniele Longo on Twitter, the Rossoneri are ready to step up their efforts to sign that player that almost joined the club last summer.
Chelsea priced Milan out of a move for Chukwuemeka when he was still an Aston Villa player. He has not made the expected impression at Chelsea when given a chance with the seniors. he has featured in 15 games for Chelsea.
Chelsea paid €18 million for him but Milan could soon get their hands on the 19-year-old Englishman, likely on a loan basis.
As well as the Chukwuemeka news, Longo reports that Lecce’s Danish midfielder, Morten Hjulmand, is not being followed by Milan at this time. He is one of many midfielders that have been linked with Milan recently.
