CM: Milan make fresh contact for Schalke youngster as interest builds

AC Milan have made fresh contact for Schalke 04 midfielder Assan Ouedraogo as he is attracting interest from many of Europe’s top clubs.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan’s aim is still to seek out young players with plenty of talent who can develop at the club and perhaps be sold for big profits further down the line.

Ouedraogo certainly fits that mould as the 17-year-old has been impressing everyone who has watched him and is destined for a big career away from Schalke who are currently in the 2.Bundesliga.

Milan have been linked with the midfielder for two years and recently made contact with his representatives again to see if a move could be on the cards in the near future.

He has similar characteristics to Ruben Loftus-Cheek who has been a big success in this Milan side.

There is a release clause in his contract that comes into effect this summer, although it is not stated what that is.

Signing Ouedraogo will not be simple for any team considering there is interest from clubs like Inter, Napoli, Bayern Munich, Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen. The option of staying in Germany may be more attractive for the German youngster.
