CM: Milan could sell midfielder to fund operations in January – the latest

Although they have started the season in the best way possible, with 26 points in ten games, Milan will be looking to reinforce the squad in January. The centre-back position remains the priority, but there could be some surprises.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri could offload a midfielder during the upcoming transfer window, namely Rade Krunic. The Bosnian has the confidence of head coach Stefano Pioli, who has used him a lot more this season.

However, his performances haven’t always been enough for Milan, most recently against Celtic when he made two huge errors. Furthermore, he hasn’t really settled on a role, rather he has been used a bit all over the place.

Therefore, per the report, he could be sold in January to free up space for a pure holding midfielder. Reflections are underway at Casa Milan and it remains to be seen if Krunic will stay until the end of the season.
