CM: Milan could sign Atalanta star for bargain price due to favourable clause

Milan are always looking for opportunities on the transfer market as they want to reinforce the squad whenever they can, and if the conditions are right. One player they could sign is Matteo Pessina, a report claims.

As is well-known information by know, when the Rossoneri sold the midfielder to Atalanta back in 2017, they added a 50% resale clause. This also means that they would get a 50% discount if they decide to buy the 23-year-old one day.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are constantly following the growth of Pessina as the duration of the clause isn’t limited. Today, the value of the player is €20-25m and even if the Rossoneri don’t buy him, they would make a nice cut.

It remains to be seen what Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara think about the matter, as there are few doubts about Pessina’s qualities. He would be a good depth player and a future starter for the club.
