CM: Milan dealt blow as Fiorentina president makes clear promise over star striker

By Isak Möller -

Milan are looking for a striker on the market as Zlatan Ibrahimovic won’t be able to play every game next season. Several names have been linked with the Rossoneri lately, including Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic.

Vlahovic impressed everyone this past season with 21 goals in the league, despite playing for a Fiorentina side that was fighting in the bottom of the table. Therefore, it’s not exactly a suprise that a few of the top teams are interested.

According to Calciomercato.com, the striker is yet to reach an agreement with Fiorentina on the renewal and his current deal will expire in 2023. This has fueled some transfer rumoyrs lately, but it seems this is a dead end.

In fact, per the report, president Rocco Commisso has promiused to new coach Gennaro Gattuso that Vlahovic will remain at the club next season. He did this to convince the former Milan man of the project, ready to keep his word.

    1. It is Vlahović. Of course they can buy him, they can take CL money and spend on him, that is how much they got. ?? 😀 But why, you need a bit of intelligence to realise there is no point in buying for +50mil they are asking if next year he will have 1 year left on his contract. Giroud for one season and Vlahovic next year, for half the price now, that would be smart. Get it? 😀

      1. Good idea but what if they manage to convince him to sign or renew his contract, they should try him now and if things won’t work they should go for Belloti before it too late

      2. I think it is a great decision to get Giroud on a free deal. We can save money for a top striker next season(22/23 season)

  1. Good, we can’t afford this ridiculous price. Hopefully we now realize Belotti is the easiest choice for us we’ve had to make in a long time. Class strker year after year, entering his prime, ready for a big team, Milanista since childhood, fair price….. so…. what’s the hesitation guys???

    1. All good and well but, ACM have plan to bring in34 yr old Chelsea striker
What a waist of money they will have 2×34 yr olds playing from the bench great?
