Milan are looking for a striker on the market as Zlatan Ibrahimovic won’t be able to play every game next season. Several names have been linked with the Rossoneri lately, including Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic.
Vlahovic impressed everyone this past season with 21 goals in the league, despite playing for a Fiorentina side that was fighting in the bottom of the table. Therefore, it’s not exactly a suprise that a few of the top teams are interested.
According to Calciomercato.com, the striker is yet to reach an agreement with Fiorentina on the renewal and his current deal will expire in 2023. This has fueled some transfer rumoyrs lately, but it seems this is a dead end.
In fact, per the report, president Rocco Commisso has promiused to new coach Gennaro Gattuso that Vlahovic will remain at the club next season. He did this to convince the former Milan man of the project, ready to keep his word.
