CM: Milan want to sign a defender with loan formula – Spurs man tops wish list

AC Milan are keen on reinforcing the defence ahead of the season opener, scheduled for August 13, and they have a few targets in mind. As for the formula, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have a clear idea.

The Rossoneri have been in tough negotiations with Club Brugge for the signing of Charles De Ketelaere recently but as an agreement has been reached, they will be able to focus on the defence. There are two players in particular that have caught their interest.

According to Calciomercato.com, Tottenham’s Japhet Tanganga remains the primary target and talks have already taken place with his entourage. The player has given preference to Milan and talks are now ongoing with Tottenham.

Spurs have agreed to the formula, a loan with an option to buy, but there is no agreement on the figures yet. Therefore, Milan are also keeping tabs on Abdou Diallo of Paris Saint-Germain. He’s expected to leave the club this summer and the Rossoneri are considering him, for now as an alternative though.
