CM: Milan desperate to complete signing of winger – player wants permanent move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to act ahead of time and secure a permanent deal for Ante Rebic before the end of his loan spell, a report claims.

The Croatia international has been nothing short of sensational since the turn of the year, netting nine goals in his last 10 Serie A games and 10 in all competitions.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews24) recently reported how Milan – until a few months ago – could have signed Rebic permanently for for just €25million as that was the asking price of the Bundesliga side, but given his excellent recent form the asking price of German demand could rise to €40million.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are itching to get a deal done for the 26-year-old given his incredible recent former. The player for his part wishes to remain beyond his loan spell and the club are ready to make sure that happens.

With the German side it will be necessary to make ends meet, given that a price for an option to buy was never agreed, but with André Silva’s future also on the table there is a solid starting point for the dialogue.
