CM: Milan eager to have Rebic back in top form – should start against Napoli

By Isak Möller -

Ante Rebic has been struggling with an elbow dislocation at the start of this season, sustaining it in the second round of the league. After seven games missed, the Croatian has now returned.

The No.12 has played in the Rossoneri’s last two games, coming off the bench both times, and is now aiming for a starting spot. Rafael Leao has done well as his replacement on the left-wing, but it’s clear that Stefano Pioli prefers Rebic.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Milan simply can’t ignore Rebic as he guarantees unpredictability, a change of pace and a good amount of goals. Therefore, it makes his return all the more interesting to follow.

The former Eintracht Frankfurt man is still not in the best shape yet, but the feeling is that he will be ready to start against Napoli after the international break. An important game for Milan, in which they will need their key players.
