CM: Milan eye striker with six goals already this season as option for the future

AC Milan’s latest idea to reinforce the attack is young Pisa striker Lorenzo Lucca who is in red-hot form, according to a report.

Calciomercato.com writes that Lucca is now in the viewfinder of the Rossoneri after a fantastic start to the Serie B season, having amassed six goals and one assist in seven appearances. He has fired Pisa to top of the table, but now clubs are circling with an interest in landing their most prized asset.

Big teams are already aware that he could be the striker of the future having already received a call-up for the Italy U21 national team, and in the next few months an auction may take place involved Serie A’s top clubs. Milan know the player well and will follow him throughout the season before making a decision on whether he is right for Stefano Pioli’s system.

The Rossoneri’s project is always attentive to talented young players, but the report mentions that they may face strong competition from Inter and Juventus to land Lucca, who at this point seems to be on a path to the national team.
