CM: Milan face summer transfer battle with Juventus to land 43-goal PSV Eindhoven star

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are battling Serie A rivals Juventus for PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen, according to the latest from Calciomercato.com.

There continues to be an abundance of speculation in the media linking Milan with various centre-forward targets given that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is 39 years of age and therefore his work load must be managed, plus the fact his contract expires at the end of the season and he may not renew.

The latter would force the Rossoneri management to look for a new long-term replacement for the Swede, and a name that will not go away is Donyell Malen. According to Calciomercato.com, the 21-year-old continues to be a target of Juventus and Milan for next season.

The Dutchman – who was a protagonist in PSV’s last league game against Ajax with two assists – is under contract until June 2024 and is represented by Mino Raiola.

Malen has 43 goals and 20 assists in 94 appearances across all competitions for the Eredivisie club, as per Transfermarkt.
