CM: Milan going all-in for €15m playmaker as hypothesis of Porto forward fades

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing to probe the market for a new attacking midfielder with the return of Tiémoué Bakayoko imminent, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, the search led them to Jesus Corona, and the intermediaries who handle the deal are still in Milan, but it now seems less and less likely that he will move to the Rossoneri. Porto refused Milan’s first offer of €10m and the management are not willing to raise that big.

This is where Romain Faivre’s profile has begun to take prominence, a player who is liked for his tactical flexibility as he can play both as an attacking midfielder and as a winger. On Friday there were new contacts between the Rossoneri and the French club. There is no agreement, the request is €15m which is too high, but they continue to work.

During the weekend new contacts are expected, as the name of Faivre advances.
