CM: Milan handed boost by Man Utd as talks regarding loanee are on the cards

By Isak Möller -

Against Benevento, Diogo Dalot will make his second start in Serie A for Milan as Theo Hernandez is serving a one-game suspension. The Man Utd loanee, in other words, won’t get to play in his favourite position on the right.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri chose the Portuguese defender for his flexibility and the start has been positive. Dalot has worked with great professionalism and Milan are satisfied with his performances.

The feeling at the Milan HQ is that we are only at the beginning, with the hope that Dalot can really excel in the second half of the season. Furthermore, they will need to sit down with Man Utd to discuss a permanent deal.

At the moment, as the report continues, there are other priorities such as the renewals of Hakan Calhanoglu and Gigio Donnarumma. That being said, the Rossoneri believe that Dalot he represents the present and the future of Milan.

A lot will depend on the price tag, but there seemingly isn’t any space left for Dalot at Milan. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opted for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and has also asked the club to sign another right-back. The latter, of course, is an assist for the Rossoneri.
