CM: Milan have agreement with Ligue 1 starlet as centre-back search intensifies

By Isak Möller -

It’s not exactly a secret that Milan will try to sign a centre-back in January, having struggled a bit with injuries in that position. Although they have managed, it’s a risky game to play for a top side like the Rossoneri.

Several names have been linked with Milan in recent months, but there is a common theme: all of them are young. Two days ago, Tuttosport reported (via MilanLive) that Matteo Lovato, Ozan Kabak and Mohamed Simakan are on the wish list.

The latter two have been linked with the Rossoneri since the summer, as the Rossoneri made attempts to sign one of them, but failed. According to Calciomercato.com, they have an agreement in principle with Simakan.

The hurdle, however, is to reach an agreement with Strasbourg on the price tag. This certainly won’t be easy, by the looks of it, as the 20-year-old has continued to perform on a high level in Ligue 1.
