CM: Milan have strong advantage in Szoboszlai race – Rangnick’s mission in Austria

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are not giving up on the signing of Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai despite the interest of other clubs, a report claims.

The Hungary international was on the scoresheet again on Wednesday night netting a peach of a free-kick to make it six goals in six games since the restart for the playmaker.

According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are still in pole position to land Szoboszlai despite the pressing of Napoli, and the Rossoneri are mainly relying on Ralf Rangnick – the true proponent of this operation from the beginning.

Officially still a Red Bull employee, the future Milan boss was in fact present yesterday at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg to watch Szoboszlai live.

It was possible that there was a meeting in the locker room, the report adds, something which could indicate just how serious Milan are in their pursuit of the player who for now is now considered the priority goal for the midfield.

As long as there are no signatures everything is possible, but Rangnick’s mission is a clear example of how the Rossoneri feels in strong advantage.
