CM: Milan have their own ‘Harry Potter’ in Pobega – renewal and future plans

By Isak Möller -

For the future, AC Milan have their very own Harry Potter: it’s not the wizard from JK Rowling’s books, but rather the young Tommaso Pobega. The midfielder is on loan at Pordenone, in Serie B, where he has been a smashing success.

Thus far, he has scored five goals and claimed three assists, being a key man in Pordenone’s bright first half of the season (sitting in 2nd place), Not bad for the player who grew up in Milan’s academy, becoming an undisputed starter.

Pobega has really shown his best side and Milan hope that he can make the same path as that of Castrovilli, who gained playing time in Serie B before moving on to Fiorentina ahead of this season.

As Calciomercato.com report, Pordenone have a buy-out clause in the loan deal but the Rossoneri have a counter-buy-out clause. In the coming weeks, Milan will offer him a contract renewal until 2024 in the coming weeks.

The midfielder is nicknamed ‘Harry Potter’ because of a joke by his teammate Lucas Chiaretti at the beginning of the season, who immediately compared him to the best-known magician in the world as he wore glasses.
