CM: Milan seriously trying to hijack Roma’s deal for French defender with talks ongoing

AC Milan have entered the race to sign Evan N’Dicka on a free transfer and they are hoping to beat Roma to his signature, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com write that Roma are looking to close the arrival of another free transfer after Houssem Aouar by signing N’Dicka. The Giallorossi have been working for some time to try and land the Frenchman, but now they face competition.

In the last few days Milan have tried to hijack the deal. The management are aware that Roma have not yet closed the deal despite having a verbal agreement, and are trying a last minute blitz to convince the defender.

There have been continuous contacts even in the last few hours, and now Milan – after having reached an advanced stage in talks over Daichi Kamada – are trying to complete a double Eintracht Frankfurt swoop.

N’Dicka’s salary in Germany is around €700k net per season. Roma have identified him as a possible replacement for Roger Ibanez who could go to Atletico Madrid, while the Diavolo see him as a good left-sided defender available on advantageous economic terms.
