The idea of an exchange deal between AC Milan and Torino involving two right-sided players is beginning to gain momentum, a report claims.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan are one of the most active teams on the market as they plan to reinvest the €70m plus €10m in bonuses they got for Sandro Tonali after his sale to Newcastle United.
Among the roles to be strengthened is the right flank, for which the Rossoneri have targeted Wilfried Singo of Torino. He has a contract that expires in a year and thus could become a low-cost opportunity.
Torino have opened to the idea of a sale so as not to lose him for free next summer, with a valuation of around €10-12m, while Inter and Juventus also like the player.
Milan are the club that have been moving most concretely by being in contact for a couple of weeks. In recent days the talks have become even more intense, with the clubs trying to find a meeting point.
The Rossoneri are considering including Junior Messias in the deal, to which €2-3m million in cash could be added. The Brazilian full-back is no longer part of Stefano Pioli’s plans and the club have already informed him he can leave.
In the coming days, the player will have direct talks with Urbano Cairo in which the Torino president will explain their project. From there, the Singo idea could really take off.
