AC Milan’s number one target for the January transfer window is Ozan Kabak of Schalke, it is claimed, but their pursuit could be complicated.
The Rossoneri were heavily linked with a move for Kabak towards the end of the summer window and continue to be tipped to move for a number of targets given their eventual failure to bring in a new centre-back.
According to what Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo is reporting (via @ACMilan_FR), Kabak is the main objective of the upcoming winter mercato, with Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara desperate to finally reinforce the defence.
The management have been boosted by the fact that the player is absolutely open to the idea of joining the rossoneri and has shown a lot of enthusiasm towards the move.
However, it will be necessary to see if Premier League champions Liverpool go all-in for the player themselves as they need defensive cover given the current injury crisis they are struggling with.
