CM: Milan, Juventus and Roma vying for signing of striker – €70m package could be needed

Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic continues to grow from strength to strength, and his price tag is rising seemingly with every game.

As Calciomercato.com writes, Vlahovic is in excellent form at the moment and scored against for Fiorentina last night for his 16th goal in the league. His growth is bringing him to the attention of the main Italian clubs and in recent weeks Juventus have also entered the race for Serbia international.

The 21-year-old apparently does not intend to extend his contract with La Viola expiring in 2023, but their owner Rocco Commisso is equally firm in his position: he does not want to sell Vlahovic and – if the initial request of €40m seemed steep – Fiorentina now want €50m from his sale.

With Edin Dzeko close to leaving, Roma have identified Dusan Vlahovic as the main objective to take over from the Bosnia international and Tiago Pinto met the entourage of the player in recent days, who is asking for a €2.5m net per year deal over four years, so a gross commitment of €20m when factoring in tax.

The Giallorossi are serious and do not want to give up despite the great competition, while Milan have collected the player’s approval but do not intend to get close to the €50m requested by Fiorentina – a valuation considered out of the market. The feeling is that the game is still open, but Juve are eyeing another coup like Federico Chiesa.
