CM: Milan and Juventus unable to change the place of West Ham striker

By Oliver Fisher -

Gianluca Scamacca has his heart set on what he wants for his future and both AC Milan and Juventus have been unable to change his mind, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, Scamacca has always wanted Roma. Even when Milan tried to convince him to join and when Juventus came forward he maintained a desire to return to the capital, despite the fact his good friend Davide Frattesi is at Inter.

His desire is to return to the city where he grew up and where his mother and sister still live, with whom he has a very strong bond. The first contacts between Roma and West Ham date back to about a month ago, but there is still a difference regarding formula.

The Giallorossi have asked for a paid loan but West Ham want an obligation to buy included linked to appearances so they can recoup most of the €40m spent to sign the 24-year-old last summer.

Roma will increase their offer for the loan fee soon but West Ham remain determined to secure an obligation to buy linked to qualifying for the Champions League.

Jose Mourinho is convinced he can help Scamacca take flight after a difficult year in the Premier League, but he still has the names of Alvaro Morata and Mehdi Taremi on the list too.

  1. With the benefit of hindsight, our hopes were dashed with Maldini’s sacking. It was going to take one of his specials to talk Scamacca into signing.

I hope Scamacca does go to Roma. Mourinho will be great for him which is great for Itay which needs someone in the #9 shirt who can change a game.
