CM: Milan make decision on €10m Torino loanee after mixed performances

By Isak Möller -

Milan have made a decision on Soualiho Meite, who arrived on loan from Torino during the January transfer window. After mixed performances, the midfielder is set to return to Turin and end his Rossoneri adventure.

The midfielder arrived as an emergency solution in January due to the injuries of Ismael Bennacer, who struggled to stay healthy this past season. Although it was an important signing for Milan, Meite never really impressed that much.

According to, the Rossoneri have decided not to redeem the midfielder. There is an €8.5m option in the deal and the loan also cost €500K, but it seems Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have other targets for the midfield.

Meanwhile, Torino are looking to find a new club for the Frenchman and would like to collect €10m from the sale. It remains to be seen where Meite will end up this summer, but his spell at Milan has come to an end.

  1. I’m indifferent to this, I honestly didnt think he did a horrible job, but spending 10 million on a 4th midfielder would be excessive. Thank you for your service and good luck Meite.

    1. I agree with u bro, this guy actually not that bad. Maybe if something is lack from him is experience and mentality to play in the big club and more high level of football. But of course every one million euro is precious for milan so we cant make him to include in this group

  2. He wasn’t Milan’s best player in a disappointing second half of the season, but he certainly wasn’t the worst either. Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

  3. Who can we get that is better for 8.5m? I think he has potential for 4th choice. he showed that against Man U.

    1. To me i will still prefer meite to Tonali…Meite has respond and vision but Tonali has nothing he can’t even trol long pass.
