AC Milan have reached a decision regarding the future of the on-loan duo Aster Vranckx and Sergino Dest, according to a report.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have decided not to buy Vranckx on a permanent deal after his season on loan from Wolfsburg. It is not good news for the 20-year-old, who made his debut with the senior national team of Belgium.
Vranckx never really fell into Stefano Pioli’s plans having made nine appearances with one assist in Serie A for a total of 235 minutes played, plus one appearance in the Coppa Italia in the defeat against Torino.
It is simply not enough to justify the €12m fee that is required to sign him on a permanent basis from Wolfsburg, and he will therefore return to base.
The same fate as Vranckx also awaits Dest, who has been off the radar since February due to some physical problems and various disagreements with Pioli. The American full-back will return to Barcelona and then leave on loan, with Besiktas keen.
In my opinion Dest should be definitely send back, he is awful at defending but Vrakx didn’t got the chance to play, he played like 2-3 games the whole season, he doesn’t seem to be a bad player and he is young wish him the best

We should keep Vanckx one more year in my opionion to see how he develops. As for Dest he should leave ASAP, what a garbage.
Vranckx should be KEPT. 12M for a fast, tall, physically gifted modern mid with touch on the ball is nothing in todays market. Huge MISTAKE to not give this kid a proper chance to develop. Who is to blame? Isn’t it Pioli for failing to develop another gem? This kid will go on to have a great career and we will regret this one. Exactly what our mid needs – he just needed to give him time and an opportunity to develop – I don’t know maybe like we did with Tonali??? We have a YOUTH POLICY but are not patient enough to give youth players time to develop?? Sound logic. Seems all political to me – let’s dump all of Maldini’s signings except Thiaw of course) LOLOLOLOLO. What a fkn mess we are
vrackx will go his path thats for sure, also cdk will – similar to paqueta – but will benefit Milan in any way?
What an unfortunate slip by Vranckx vs Roma. Else we’d be singing the same praises as Thiaw. Are we doing a youth policy or a revenue policy because tbh he could fit both if u think about it lol
