AC Milan face very strong competition in the race to sign Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, according to a report.
Calciomercato.com recently reported that Milan have not given up on Milenkovic, and that the Serbia international is one of the main objectives of technical director Paolo Maldini to reinforce the defence.

According to what is being reported by the same outlet, Milan have been joined by Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid and Manchester United in the race to land Milenkovic.
The former Partizan Belgrade star is currently on a deal which expires in 2022, and multiple outlets have suggested that he and his agent are playing hard ball over a new contract, possibly to feel out the market ahead of the summer.
