CM: Milan midfielder puts €6m Torino offer on hold – wants Atalanta return

By Isak Möller -

Giacomo Bonaventura will say goodbye to Milan after six seasons, making a total of 171 appearances for the club and bagging 35 goals in the process. It’s a bitter farewell, as the midfielder’s first choice was to stay.

As Calciomercato.com report, the 30-year-old expected greater recognition from the club. However, it’s already time to move on and think about the future, calmly evaluating the many offers that he has received.

Torino have already presented a contract to the player’s agent, Mino Raiola, putting a three-year deal worth close to €2m per year (including bonuses) on the table. An important offer, but ‘Jack’ has asked Torino for more time to decide.

The reason? He wants to wait for Atalanta. There have already been contacts to probe the ground and Bonaventura is very tempted by the idea of returning to the Bergamo side. Although there isn’t an offer yet, this destination is the player’s priority.
