Ante Rebic has struggled with a few injuries this season and that has, unfortunately, overshadowed what was a positive start to the campaign. And Milan, in their race for the Scudetto, need the Croatian in form.
Since arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt, it hasn’t always been easy for Rebic but he has always been able to deliver in the second half of the seasons. In fact, he has been a very important player for Milan in that sense.
As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Rebic had some very good moments at the start of this season, similar to what Rafael Leao is experiencing currently. However, then came the injuries and it was back to square one, now having to start from scratch.
Given that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out with an injury, Milan now need Rebic to regain form as soon as possible. He can rotate with Olivier Giroud for the position up front but he will also be able to offload Leao, who inevitable will get a lot of playing time moving forward.
That’s why, in their Scudetto race, Milan need the Croatian in good form for the remainder of the season.
