CM: Milan’s attack stretched further after Okafor injury – the games he will miss

AC Milan’s attacking department is once again left stretched very thin as Noah Okafor is the latest player to go down with a muscle problem.

As Calciomercato.com report, Okafor joins the long list of absences in the attack, which currently features Rafael Leao due to injury and Olivier Giroud due to suspension. Each will definitely miss Saturday’s game against Fiorentina.

The Swiss forward was injured with his national team and suffered a muscle problem in his right thigh. The first scans carried out after the match played by Switzerland against Romania revealed an injury to the hamstring of the right thigh.

The player will be re-evaluated with new tests in a week, but the recovery times for an issue of this type are usually around 10-14 days. He will certainly miss the match against Fiorentina and will certainly not be available to Pioli even in the fundamental match against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

If he were to miss two weeks, then he would skip the games against Fiorentina, Dortmund, Frosinone and possibly Atalanta too, with that game on December 9 and the Newcastle away UCL game on December 13.
