CM: Milan excited by Primavera striker after Italy U17 display as contract talks gather pace

By Euan Burns -

Excitement is growing over AC Milan Primavera striker Francesco Camarda and the Rossoneri want to ensure that they secure his future with the club, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, Camarda’s latest achievement was to help the Italy U17s win 4-2 against Germany and win the Four Nations tournament.

Camarda netted twice for the Azzurrini, with Roma’s Alessandro Di Nunzio and Inter’s Mattia Mosconi scoring the other goals at the Sportpark Nord in Bonn.

He scored a penalty and the clinching goal. He is not yet 17 years old and his agent is Giuseppe Riso. Some discussions had been held with Paolo Maldini about his long-term future and those discussions are set to now continue with Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada.

There is interest in Camarda from abroad, namely Borussia Dortmund, who are very good at attracting young talent to the club. With his age, he cannot sign a contract lasting longer than three years.

  1. The way he dribble the ball reminds me to Andriy Shevchenko. And his playing style also like Andriy Shevchenko : Drop deeper, confident with his speed, and deadly shooting (either Finishing or Long shot).

A little bit different with current Lone Striker role at first team, but he has about 3 years ahead to show his best role.

  2. Renew his contract and insert a 500mil release clause just like Barca would have done then every single year renew the contract and keep increasing his salary gradually

  3. It’s no happening.

We’ve signed a new striker every season for over 15 seasons and I can’t see that changing after this summer’s extravaganza were we signed at least 2 strikers.

The only way youth players stand a chance is if a team limits its transfer activity to targeted signings.

That’s what the great Barca side did they targeted one or two key signings every summer (and virtually none in winter).

Otherwise there’s simply isn’t the space or focus.

          1. We’ve been through over 25 strikers in 10 years…..

In the time that Aubameyang was off playing in other top teams we spent millions an wasted years faffing around on the transfer market signing and replacing endless strikers.

Looking at this summer, if the team qualifies for the champions league for next season and reaches the latter stages in that competition this season ie what the team achieved last season, we can expect more overhaul and any players that don’t make the “grade” will be flipped.

We signed Jovic and we are already looking to replace Jim’s

We signed Okafor and we already replaced him with Jovic.

And all of this chaos has been widely supported by the media and therefore the fans.
