CM: Milan profiting from Real Madrid’s ‘disaster’; enquiry from PSG for star man rejected

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan rejected enquiries during the summer transfer window for Theo Hernandez from Paris Saint-Germain, a report claims.

According to Fabrizio Romano’s latest for Calciomercato.com, Milan consider any offer for Theo Hernandez to be not enough. The Frenchman has made an incredible impact since his arrival from Real Madrid in summer 2019, establishing himself as one of the best full-backs in the league, if not in Europe.

He adds that Paris Saint-Germain expressed an interest but Milan were not willing to even come to the negotiating table unless an offer of €40million plus bonuses were present.

Real Madrid are coming to terms with what has been a ‘disaster’ of an operation from their point of view as they sold Theo for €20m and he is now worth over double 12 months down the line.

Zidane claims he has no regrets, but it must certainly be viewed as a mistake. Nonetheless, there are no plans to try and bring the 23-year-old back at present as they instead have a buy-back clause on Sergio Reguilon who moved to Tottenham.
