CM: Milan reach agreement with Lille goalkeeper amid Donnarumma dilemma – the situation

Milan are working hard to renew the contract of Gigio Donnarumma, which will expire in the summer, but it has been far from easy thus far. Mino Raiola, as we know, is a tough man to negotiate with.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri have put €8m per year on the table for their talented goalkeeper, but are yet to receive a response. Although the situation is looking very tough, they haven’t lost hope just yet.

In the meantime, Milan recently spoke with Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan. They already have an agreement with the player, who made it clear that he would appreciate the move. Now, therefore, they need to negotiate with Lille over the transfer fee.

Milan have very good relations with the Ligue 1 side and this could facilitate the negotiations, as the San Siro side are waiting for a signal from Donnarumma. The talks with Maignan, in other words, are precautions.
