CM: Milan ready to close signing of Chelsea defender – discount expected on €30m request

By Oliver Fisher -

After the arrivals of Soualiho Meite and Mario Mandzukic, the Milan management are not finish on the transfer market.

The former arrived on loan with option to buy from Torino on Friday and the latter is currently undergoing a medical, but Calciomercato.com reports that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want Fikayo Tomori to be the third to sign.

Milan expect to close the deal with Chelsea in the next 48-72 hours as talks with the Premier League club have moved forward. Maldini and Massara want to make the Englishman available to Stefano Pioli as soon as possible.

The basis of the deal will be a loan with the option to buy, and it is expected that the Rossoneri will get a discount on the €30million initially set for the right to buy by the Blues.

Meanwhile, it seems like Maldini is trying to lock up a playmaker for June, which you can read about here.
