CM: Milan relying on discount as midfield search continues – Pobega isn’t enough

Milan are looking for a midfielder on the market as despite performing well recently, Tommaso Pobega hasn’t done quite enough to convince the Rossoneri. There are two players on their radar, a report claims.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Pobega is indeed an interesting prospect but he needs time to adapt to a two-man field. And Rade Krunic clearly is more useful for Stefano Pioli in other positions, forcing Milan to act on the market.

The two main targets for the midfield tandem are Tiemoue Bakayoko and Boubacar Kamara. Both will expire next summer but Chelsea have the option to extend the former’s contract, which could play an important role.

The price tags of both players are considered too high by Milan but as we are approaching the end of the market, the prices are bound to drop. In other words, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are hoping for a good August discount.
