CM: Milan remain admirers of Brest star and new attempt in January is very possible

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could make a January attempt to sign Romain Faivre from Brest after failing to land him this summer, a report claims.

MilanNews wrote how the the Milan management tried to sign Faivre from Brest and kept talks alive for as long as they could, even making two offers, but the Ligue 1 side decided to take him off the market because they were upset about his behaviour.

Faivre was called up for the Brest squad to face Strasbourg on Sunday but did not show up to leave with the team on Saturday, which appears to have angered their leadership, who decided they were not going to sell him to the Rossoneri.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com however, Milan have not completely let go of the idea of signing Faivre. Therefore, it cannot be not excluded that the Rossoneri management will attempt a new assault in January as they hope to finally land a player in which the scouting department have clearly seen plenty of potential and promise.
