CM: Milan remain big admirers of River Plate winger as Massara continues talks with entourage

Even though the transfer window only closed on Tuesday, rumours persist about potential future transfer targets for AC Milan.

One of the question marks post-mercato is regarding Milan’s attack, as they completed the signing of Junior Messias from Crotone on deadline day but failed to secure a guaranteed upgrade in either the playmaker or right wing positions, leading to suggestions they may try and address this in January.

According to the latest from Calciomercato.com, Milan are continuing to closely monitor the performance of Julian Alvarez, a 21-year-old winger who currently plies his trade at River Plate and who recently won the Copa America with Argentina.

There is no offer on the table at the moment for the forward, but sporting director Ricky Massara is a big admirer of the player and is keeping alive contacts with the entourage of the right-sided player with view to a possible future move.
