CM: Milan resume contacts over deal for CSKA Moscow star – ‘watch out for surprises’

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have relaunched their attempts to sign Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow and are hoping to be more successful this time, it is claimed.

There have been rumours recently suggesting that Vlasic is very much still a target for Milan. Russian portal euro-football.ru reported that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will again try to come to an agreement with CSKA for Vlasic who is a target admired by Stefano Pioli, but the Rossoneri are still reluctant to carry out a permanent transfer this summer.

They added that the club will try to convince CSKA to let the Croatian attacking midfielder leave on loan with an obligation to buy, with his market valuation currently around €30m, while La Gazetta dello Sport journalist Carlo Laudisa (via MilanNews) confirmed that Milan are still thinking of Vlasic as an option.

According to Calciomercato.com reporter Daniele Longo, Milan have held new talks over a deal for Vlasic as the Rossoneri management are determined to try again. They are hoping for that CSKA Moscow will have relaxed their stance a bit and although the negotiation remains complicated, Longo adds to ‘watch out for surprises’.

      1. Milan will buy Vlasic in the last days of the transfer window in order to lower the price that CSKA is currently asking for. I am 90% sure that Vlasic will come to Milan

    1. I see that you are not a Milan fan and you know nothing about football. Milan does not intend to sell Krunic because Piola and Milan need that player in the position of left offensive playmaker. He is one of the important links in Milan’s game and better football experts in Italy consider Krunic one of better players in Italy. Krunic has the support of Ultras Milan and a large number of fans.
