AC Milan are expected to sign a new left-back ahead of next season and the management has already started working on the matter. Real Betis youngster Juan Miranda is the primary target, a report claims.
Theo Hernandez is the only left-back in Milan’s squad currently, not counting the youngster Davide Bartesaghi, and that cannot be the case for next season as well. According to Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri have set their sights on Miranda.
The 23-year-old’s contract with Real Betis will expire in the summer and Milan have scheduled new talks with his entourage in the next weeks to probe the ground. It’s not an easy mission, though, not just because a renewal remains possible but also because of the competition.
Against Juventus, Alessandro Florenzi will most likely be the starting left-back for Milan. Bartesaghi has made a couple of appearances this season but in such a big game, it might not be that wise to give the 17-year-old his first start. Another alternative is a three-man backline, of course.
Our problem is no defenders is just the line up I meant the formation
There’s no one sufficient enough to cover the Left wing outside of Hernandez. Neither Flo nor Barte can cover Chiesa on the Left. Have to go to three in the back.
Florenzi is not good enough
