AC Milan had scouts at the Champions League game between Inter and Red Bull Salzburg to watch one player in particular, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan had observers present during the game on Tuesday evening at San Siro, which the Nerazzurri won 2-1.

They were there to watch one player in particular: Roko Simic, the young striker who is the son of Dario Simic, a former defender that played for both Milan clubs.

It is well known that Milan intend to sign a striker in the upcoming transfer windows given that Olivier Giroud is 37 and Luka Jovic is yet to convince, with Simic fitting the kind of signing RedBird Capital prefer.

Simic is 20 years of age, was born in Milano and has four goals in 10 Austrian Bundesliga games so far this season in a side that has seen the likes of Erling Haaland, Karim Adeyemi, Patson Daka, Sadio Mane and Benjamin Sesko come and go.
