CM: Milan set asking price for Romagnoli as exit rumours continue to swirl

AC Milan have set their asking price for captain Alessio Romagnoli if he is to be sold this summer, according to a report.

Tuttosport (via MilanLive) reported this morning Milan could be forced to sacrifice even one or more players to actively reinvest on the incoming market.

One of the players put forward by the paper is centre-back Alessio Romagnoli, who has lost his starting position and, has a contract that is difficult to renew and is in his prime years, but the Rossoneri will only listen to offers of over €30m.

According to Calciomercato.com though, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have in fact set a low asking price than what Tuttosport are reporting. In fact, Romagnoli will be allowed to leave for €20m in the upcoming window, which will represent a pure capital gain as his residual value on the balance sheet is zero.
