Gigio Donnarumma wants to stay at Milan and the latter are working hard to lock him down with a new contract. However, dealing with Mino Raiola is just as hard as it sounds, complicating the matter.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, the parties have been negotiating for quite some time and a pay rise is on the cards. Donnarumma currently earns €6m per year and Milan recently offered €6.5m and then €7m.
However, the efforts weren’t enough to convince Raiola who wants more from the Rossoneri. A meeting should take place soon and it could be the decisive one, as Milan are ready to raise their offer further and believe that could do it.
They can’t afford to lose the goalkeeper on a free transfer and are increasingly determined to find an agreement, whatever the costs. The meeting, as the report states, could take place already after the Cagliari game on Monday.
