AC Milan remain interested in signing PSV Eindhoven captain Denzel Dumfries despite the rumours surrounding Serge Aurier, a report claims.
One of the areas that needs to be addressed in the upcoming summer transfer window is the right-back spot, as one of Davide Calabria or Andrea Conti will leave as both have failed to convince for long periods.
Fabrizio Romano’s latest for Calciomercato.com confirmed that Milan are thinking about the signing of Serge Aurier, who would cost around €15m, after Sky Italia reported the same on Saturday evening.
However, Calciomercato.com are reporting that Milan are evaluating several different profiles for the role of right-back. Contacts with Tottenham for Aurier are currently underway, but the Dumfries idea also remains alive.
Milan have also been linked with Emerson Royal of Barcelona in recent weeks, however the report makes no mention of the Brazilian.
Pierre Kalulu has already arrived from Lyon on a free transfer.
