CM: Milan planning two investments in the January window – the roles and names

AC Milan’s squad is not considered complete by the management and Geoffrey Moncada is already planning the next moves, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com write how Milan’s latest negative results have highlighted the shortcomings of a squad that is certainly deeper and qualitatively superior to that of last season but still incomplete.

Moncada and ANtonio D’Ottavio worked methodically and knowledgeably to lay a strong foundation to be completed in subsequent transfer windows, with a clear idea on the next steps to take.

The squad lacks a quality alternative to Theo Hernández, which is why Juan Miranda has become a priority target. Milan will try to anticipate the competition from Barcelona as early as January by offering €3-4m for a player whose deal expires at the end of the season.

An attempt will also be made for Jonathan David as early as the winter mercato, given the Canadian striker is considered an important profile for the present and the future.

Lille, at the moment, are not so convinced about letting their jewel leave during the current season. This is why a new attack for Mehdi Taremi cannot be ruled out, and he also has an expiring contract.
